Often tours take us to relatively rubbish places, but lunch was really high quality! BRING A JACKET - it can get a bit breezy in the jeep.”

Our guide was knowledgeable on the area and gave us a good commentary of local information. We were taken up some very steep roads that would not have been accessible without 4WD! This stop was underwhelming due to the fact it was getting dark and could not be fully enjoyed.”

On the way back as all four of us on this tour had already visited Cabo Girão Louis kindly arranged for us to spend some time at Camara de Lobos as an alternative. Great half day trip.”

“The singers were very good. The guitars and instrument players very good. The room was small, dark, and hot. We sat on plastic chairs. The singers knew some English and did ok translating the songs and information and history for us. I think we paid way too much for this experience. I would suggest half of what we paid is reasonable. If this was held in a local bar or place they really sang Fado, it would have had a good atmosphere.”
