I thought the wine at the first vineyard wasn't quite to my taste and the tour guide could have been a bit more upbeat/friendly. But the guide at the second venue (fortified wine at Henriques) was awesome. The place we went to for lunch was also incredible. Often tours take us to relatively rubbish places, but lunch was really high quality! BRING A JACKET - it can get a bit breezy in the jeep.”

Our guide was knowledgeable on the area and gave us a good commentary of local information. We were taken up some very steep roads that would not have been accessible without 4WD! “The trip did not start off well with us being picked up an hour late and this was certainly not a "breathtaking jeep tour" but rather just a trip on the regular highway straight to the vineyard which was the only positive thing about this trip (great staff, great wines). After the wine tasting was over we only got to visit one of the five stops as advertised for the trip Cabo Girao. This stop was underwhelming due to the fact it was getting dark and could not be fully enjoyed.”

“This was a great trip. I was slightly concerned about the journey in the jeep, but once Lewis (Louis?) took us off road through the vineyards it was definitely worth it! On the way back as all four of us on this tour had already visited Cabo Girão Louis kindly arranged for us to spend some time at Camara de Lobos as an alternative. Great half day trip.”
