“It was an amazing hike with amazing views, but we warned it is quite treacherous and extremely windy so its not for young kids in my opinion, well worth a trip though!!! It took me 3 hours altogether there and back but I wasn't hanging about so id give it 4 hours at least”

“The forest and scenery is beautiful! Personally I preferred the 25 Fontes and Risco waterfalls but the Caldeirão Verde waterfall is still pretty (just felt more crowded). If you are a bit anxious about heights just be mindful the last little stretch might make you a bit nervous (worth pushing through though). When it gets busy the paths are tight so letting people past is tricky. Luis was awesome at giving us insights to from the hike.”

“This tour I joined only consists of two customers, including me. Still, they didn't cancel it due to the low number of customers. It's good. Transportation is on time. The car is comfortable. Instruction is very clear. Unfortunately, the wildfire in August, 2024 has damaged a part of the trail, which was mentioned on the website here. This is a great experience. However, this travelling agent didn't remind me that this hiking trail charge visitors €3 (Dec, 2024), maybe for the protection of endangered Madeira petrel and maintenance of the trail.”
